Hubert Michalak
Executive Vice PresidentHillwood’s Managing Director for the Eastern and Central Europe region and Executive Vice President.
Hubert has been involved in the real estate market for over 20 years. He has comprehensive knowledge in the field of investment processes, designing, financing and rental of warehouse space, as well as real estate management and sales.
In 2014, Hubert opened a Hillwood branch in Warsaw and subsequently assembled a team of experts capable of successfully navigating the ever-evolving commercial landscape. Hubert’s efforts have resulted in over a billion euros worth of investments and modern warehouse projects with a combined area of almost 2 million square metres.
Over the course of nine years, Hillwood Polska has overseen the management of a portfolio encompassing two million square metres, which have been occupied by more than 250 tenants.
Prior to joining Hillwood, Hubert was a partner at AIG/Lincoln, a real estate acquisition, rental and sales company involved in the management of multifunctional projects in Europe. Before that, he worked for Viterra Development, a real estate developer operating in Poland and Germany.
Tomasz Jaroszewski
Vice PresidentLegal & Transactions
Tomasz joined the Hillwood team in 2016 and is currently Vice President (Legal & Transactions). He is in charge of managing general compliance, overseeing the work of the team of internal lawyers and external law firms, and managing purchase, sale, and financing transactions.
Tomasz has over 10 years of professional experience in a variety of industries. Prior to joining Hillwood, he worked in law firms and consulting companies, including Clifford Chance, SKS and PwC.
Tomasz has led real estate sales transactions worth nearly EUR 2 billion, covering countries such as Poland, Germany and the UK. Furthermore, as part of his work on financing Hillwood projects, he has closed credit agreements worth EUR 1.5 billion.
A graduate of Law at Wrocław University and an attorney at the Warsaw Bar Association, Tomasz is also a graduate of the Wrocław University of Economics specialising in international business.
Damian Słaby
Vice PresidentFinance
Damian joined the Hillwood Polska team in 2017 and is primarily responsible for the investment, financial, and business development areas in Poland.
Damian has over 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate and business consulting industries. Before joining Hillwood, he worked for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (one of the largest real estate companies in Europe) in Poland and Germany, as well as in the Business Advisory department at EY.
He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. He also holds an ACCA certificate.
Witold Zadrożny
Executive DirectorSales & Marketing
Witold Zadrożny serves as Executive Director Sales & Marketing at Hillwood Poland, where he oversees the leasing and marketing departments and is responsible for developing the company’s commercial strategy. He has more than 20 years of experience in the logistics industry and in business management across Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltic states, Ukraine and Germany. Previously, he worked for companies including Wincanton, Raben, Rhenus and Customs Support Group, where he was responsible for business development, operations management and building client relationships.
Renata Michalczyk
Senior DirectorProperty & Asset Management
Renata joined the Hillwood Polska team in 2021 and is in charge of managing the property portfolio of Hillwood and its partner entities in Poland as well as keeping investors informed.
Renata has more than 20 years of experience in real estate management. Prior to joining Hillwood, she was Head of Property Management Europe at Prologis.
Renata is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, Faculty of Management and Marketing.
