Hillwood Sells a Portfolio of Four Logistics Assets for EUR 150 Million
Hillwood Poland has completed the sale of a portfolio of four logistics properties. The transaction comprises a total of almost 200,000 sqm of warehouse and office space and is valued at EUR 150 million.
The portfolio comprises Hillwood Łódź Górna, Hillwood Wrocław City I, Hillwood Wrocław City II, and Hillwood Bieruń. The assets are located across Poland’s key logistics markets, including Central Poland, Wrocław and Upper Silesia.
The portfolio consists of high-quality logistics properties designed to meet the requirements of major international occupiers. Its composition reflects the broad scope of Hillwood Poland’s operations, combining new developments, build-to-suit projects, and the acquisition of existing, stabilised assets.
– The sale of this portfolio confirms that high-quality logistics properties in Poland continue to attract global capital. We are consistently expanding our platform through new developments and strategic acquisitions, while actively managing the value of our assets. This transaction marks another important milestone in this strategy. It enables us to recycle capital efficiently and deploy it into further development projects and acquisitions, while continuing to strengthen Hillwood’s position in the Polish market,” says Hubert Michalak, President of Hillwood Poland.
The portfolio was acquired by a US real estate investment company focused on commercial properties leased under long-term agreements. The transaction demonstrates the continued interest of international investors in Poland’s logistics sector and confirms its importance within the European commercial real estate market. It also supports Hillwood Poland’s strategy of actively managing its portfolio, creating value throughout the investment cycle, and further expanding its operations in Poland.
Clifford Chance acted as legal counsel on the sale, while CBRE served as transaction advisor.
